Cleaning Tips You Need To Know For The Holidays

A clean business matters.  In fact, a big factor that differentiates one business from the competition in this current market is the cleanliness of the space or office. People do not want to work or be in an unorganized space that displays dust, grime, or dirt.

Furthermore, the holidays brings a lot more people out than normal to your business and/or office for events, meaning you have to remain extra diligent to stay on top of the cleanliness of your space because more people are venturing in and out each day.

  • Keep your entry or store front windows and doors smudge-free.
As people approach your building, they will notice immediately if the glass windows or doors look dirty or not. They may still venture inside, but if the inside of the store matches the outside, they are more likely to leave before making a purchase.

  • Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum daily.
You will also want to spot sweep or vacuum throughout that day as needed and immediately clean up any spills that may occur.

  • Keep your bathrooms clean and well-stocked.
On a hectic and busy holiday day, have one dedicated janitorial team member check the bathrooms regularly. This keeps the bathroom clean and keeps staff and customers happy.

  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces consistently throughout the day.
Statistically, people with colds or other germs are still going to go shopping, golfing, go to parties and events, whether they know they are sick or not. You can’t avoid it, but you can help stop the spread of germs with regular disinfecting practices. Spray and wipe down counters, counters, doorknobs, and bathrooms.

You don’t have to tackle this process alone. We can certainly help. Ask Prioritas Property Services to manage your commercial cleaning needs with excellence and efficiency.
